My Daughter Macie

 My daughter, Macie, who will be entering her Senior year this fall. She is part of the National Honor Society and focused on College courses which makes me so proud of her and cannot imagine our lives without that beautiful smile, her witty gestures, and her courage to face the pressures among our teens today.  As I spend my time here in North Pole, Alaska, capturing images of the unity of families, new life, and the connection between loved ones, my mind wanders each time I hold my camera.  I remember the importance of my role in this world we live today.  This moment with my daughter, her smile, her focus on me while capturing her essence brings me such joy and tears of happiness.
